Hello everyone,
I've been looking for ways to improve my art because I feel like in the past year I've been focusing too much on selling my art rather than getting better and my skill has almost gone backwards. So I've been keeping a record of all the constructive comments I get from ProjectComment as well as my own criticisms. Right now I'm working on improving the way I render textures, particularly the intricate highlights and reflections in metal.
I'd just like to ask you guys if you have any general feedback for me? I'd really love to hear from everyone, any feedback at all is good because I'd like to know what suggestions you might have.
Thank you very much everyone and I hope you have an amazing day!

Announcing the Dystopian Sydney project
Hello everyone! I am very excited to tell you about the new project I'm starting, the World of Dystopian Sydney. For those who don't know, I was born in and have lived in Sydney, Australia all my life and I had a new idea a week ago to photograph my home, draw it, and transform it- into a Dystopia.
I have dedicated a new sketchpad to the project and if I am happy with the end result I may attempt to publish it. You may have already seen the completed first page (The Asian Grocers of Death) and I am currently working on the next one. For anyone else who lives in Sydney, feel free to suggest suburbs for me to photograph! When I complete the sk
Time to Celebrate!!
Hello everyone!
I've just gone past 20 watchers, and although it sounds small I'm really happy because I never thought I'd make it this far on DeviantArt!
I want you all to know how happy it makes me every day that there are so many people who like my work and are willing to support me, so a big thank you to all of you.
Well, that's the main thing I'm celebrating right now, but coming up is also my 14th birthday. I know it's a bit of a random thing to tell you guys, but I realized that a lot of you don't know my age and I wanted to see if it would change people's opinions of my art. So, happy birthday to me I guess!
Another thing which yo
Support My Work on Patreon!
Hi guys, I know I posted a journal article a few months ago on this topic but I've gained several watchers since then so I thought I'd do a second update. I'm sorry if this spams your notifications.
Ok, as made obvious by the title I've recently started a campaign on Patreon. It's abysmally small at the moment (I make a grand total of $3 per month from my 2 fabulous patrons) but I have high hopes for it. As a 13 year old artist it is hard to get things started, but I started with this because I don't like to let my age limit my potential. I highly recommend you check it out at: https://www.patreon.com/squiddosnazz

your doing fine mate! but if u really feel like your getting worse take a small break and draw what you like and if u wanna make your work more complex try using more shapes and i noticed u dont use color much. try to use more color just to experiment and go outta ye comfort zone a bit
